Placing an order

By placing an order, it is deemed that you have read the descriptions and understood the context.

- These Terms and Conditions and your use of our web site are governed by UK law and all claims and disputes to be settled in UK Courts. This does not effect your statutory  rights.

- It is presumed you will pay for the  paintings ordered and not exercise cashbacks.

- A contract between us and the ID for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and despatched. We retain the right to refuse to complete any order if we suspect fraud or theft or any other suspiscious activity.

- None of our paintings in the "L'Art Du Faux" section is an attempt to pass of as authentic.  We do not issue certificates of authentification/authenticity, or any resale "valuations".

- All paintings/drawings done by us are protected under copyright law. Permission for reproduction can be obtained easily through us.  If you don't do this, we don't much care anyway.

- Misuse of any "after" paintings may be considered illegal.

- In no way shall Dunraven Gallery be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages resulting from the misuse or mis-sale of our paintings.

- In no circumstances does Dunraven Gallery condone or intend to promote the illegal misuse of any of it's "L'Art du Faux" paintings and shall not be liable for any such misuse. These paintings are sold for decorative purposes only.

-  Prices and availability of goods is subject to change without notice.  Delivery charges are changeable according to current costs, multiple purchases can be combined.

Your Right to Cancel

You may normally cancel your order (once accepted by us) for any reason up to the point of despatch.  If you wish to cancel the contract within this time any payments made by you will be refunded in full within 30 days.

Returns Policy

If you are not entirely delighted with the products that you have chosen you may return them to us within 14 days of despatch.  We will be more than happy to offer you an exchange, or at our descretion, a refund, provided that the products are returned complete and undamaged - in resaleable condition - and unused.

Please take care to check all products within the 14 day return period as no items will be accepted back beyond this period.  

Making Returns

For all returns, except where the item is faulty or due to our error, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the products to us.  Ensure all customs labels and information is correctly marked as "return"  "Origin of Goods - UK"  to prevent import duties.  (We will deduct miscollected import duties from the refund in the case of incorrect labeling.)

Pack items securely, include details of your name, address and Order ID and send it back to:

When returning items you are strongly recommended to obtain proof of posting.  We will not accept responsibility for lost items, and a refund will only be issued on receipt in resaleable undamaged condition.

Conformity of Goods

A description of the goods is set out on our website.  Whilst we will attempt to ensure that there are no changes to the goods to be supplied, it is possible that there may be some minor variations to the description and/or specification of the goods.  The photographed item is what is sent.  All items are unique and alternatives will not be sent.

All descriptions are made in good faith and all dates are estimated with no proof of exactness or in the case of "L'Art Du Faux" are for decoration only.

-  All paintings in the section "L'Art du Faux" are believed to be free from Copyright on the following counts:

a)  The artist has died over seventy years ago, thus all images are in the Public Domain.
b)  In the cases of artists dying more recently, artworks are taken from museum exhibition pieces  placing them in Public Domain.
c)  The artwork is vastly different from the authentic original , taking only the idea to make a new piece.

We would like to keep in touch and may send promotional emails or letters, unless you wish to opt out.

We do not share our information with anyone, knowingly. Full stop.

Our site host collects non-identifying information with regard to statistics, visits etc. We cannot collect any personally identifying information this way.

We do not keep any statistics/information/ emails etc.  outside that necessary to complete an order and for accountancy purposes.  

If reorders are made beyond a certain period, we may NOT have your previous details.
